For the first time in Australia, weed seeds will be gathered from lucerne seed production paddocks, germinated in a controlled environment, and tested to determine the level of herbicide resistance.
This is part of an AgriFutures Australia and Lucerne Australia project focusing on weed management in the Australian lucerne seed industry.
